Monthly Sock Workshop

Join us for our (hopefully) monthly sock get together, to hone our sock knitting skills and learn new techniques to jazz up our hand knit socks.

These workshops are NOT for the beginning sock knitter - it is recommended that you have completed a few pair of socks and be familiar with basic sock construction.

Instructors will rotate based on the technique we will be learning that meeting, and class size and tuition may vary between instructors.  Space is limited so you must reserve a spot by coming into the Blue Heron Knittery and signing up.

Class date: Saturdays starting February 29th, 2020

Class time: 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Class cost: February class $10 payable to Anna Linnell

Skills needed and homework: Basic sock knitting techniques; cast on, knit, purl, slipping, picking up stitches, and decrease.  Must have a sock on the needles, cuff down production, ready for the heel.  You MUST be ready to start the heel.
